What you see up there in the header is our superstitious food of the New Year. Which means… Woo! We made it through the final days of 2016- I won’t even say unscathed, because HOLY COW.
The last few days of 2016 saw me lose one of my lifetime cinematic-and-otherwise heroes, Carrie Fisher. We lost George Michael a day before. We lost Carrie’s mother the day after her. We’ve lost authors, musicians, actors, scientists… people who made a difference in our minds and hearts.
And none of it was pleasant, or even remotely okay. We can’t even pretend.
But, in spite of it all, 2017 is here, and we must persevere.
My personal To Do List of 2017 is as follows:
💛 Finish the Tale of El’Anret series, and have it completely published.
💛 Submit a story or article to a Magazine
💛 Take part in my first book event!
💛 Expand Bard Girl Press’ presence both online and in the real world.
My brain aches from being tired. We finished the year with a personal bang! but 2016 was utterly exhausting. I’ll keep updating the list as soon as I learn to think again.
What are you doing in 2017?! Writing, creating? Learning to enslave mole rats to do your bidding? Releasing a debut novel? Link us to your work and what you’re doing! Happy 2017, people. Let’s do the damn thing.
Looks like you’ve got some great goals! Good luck in the new year 🙂

You accomplished quite a bit in 2016! Congrats! Best of luck to you on finishing The Dreamon and looking for that agent. ^_^
